Why is Youtube SEO so important?

Youtube SEO is often overlooked by founders because they either focus exclusively on Google SEO or they think that Youtube SEO doesn't have good ROI.

They're wrong.

They think in terms of views.

But they should be thinking in terms of revenue.

Those non-viral youtube videos you see hitting low views can be converting much better than videos with 100k views.

You also have to take into account that Youtube is the second largest search engine after Google.

Videos also show up in Google results.

Companies like Instantly.ai are taking advantage of this.

You now understand the power of Youtube SEO.

But how do you find content ideas?

I use perplexity to find content ideas for me.

Let's say that you're a company selling a product that helps with paid ads.

Ask perplexity: "what are the main pain points of [audience] doing paid ads in 2025"

It'll give you a list of pain points, take each one and create a video about it.

Ran out of ideas?

We only discovered the pillar content.

You can always ask perplexity to go deeper on each subtopic and discover new subtopics and questions that lie underneath.

The new meta in 2025 is: Clickbait + Overdelivering with value.

Talk about the pain point and casually introduce your tool as the solution.

Show off your expertise.

But most importantly, don't come off as too salesy.

You can record all of the videos yourself.

But at a certain point you have to hire other people.

Go to Upwork and create a listing.

Give it a clear name: "Youtube long-form content creator (X$/mo + 20% recurring commision)"

Combining fixed payment with recurring commission is almost a no-brainer.

Give them a clear description of what you need and provide sample videos. (for example the instantly vids above)
